Freeplan-S
The Structural Slab on Piles
Twintec can achieve slabs supported on piles as well as complex foundations using steel fibre reinforced concrete, without the need for additional rebars and/or heavy steel mesh.
The steel fibres used are the AFT+ 1/60, a 60mm (2.4") long undulated fibre with a diameter of 1mm (0.039") and a wire tensile strength of 1450 N/mm2 (210 ksi).
These fibres have been specially developed and tested for structural applications. The dosage rate in concrete
is very high, from 40-50 kg/m3 (67-84 lbs/cu.yd)
The FREEPLAN-S slabs on piles are delivered with the DBI concept (Design – Build – Insure).
Twintec as a specialist concrete flooring contractors offers a complete design made by professional engineers, who are able to advise you on the best piling system, possible enlarged pile heads, edge detail, etc.).
Twintec engineers should be consulted on piles at the early stage of your project to enable them to deliver an optimal design solution to suit your clients' needs as well as an economic floor slab solution.
All Twintec designs are absolutely free of charge
