Comparative Test Results

Twintec predominantly uses undulated steel fibres. The highly resistant AFT fibre (advanced fibre technology) is characterised by its shape and allows a perfect reinforcement of concrete. Extensive testing has confirmed that the undulated shape is a key factor leading to optimal anchorage.

By adding high dosages of steel fibre, the concrete will behave like a composite material with an important gain in structural ductility and shrinkage control. With such rotation capacity, most designs are based on the yield line theory.
